Location: Shoreline of Cranberry Lake, Town of Clifton

Project Title: Clarke & Jane Gage
Project description: THIS IS A REVISED, SECOND NOTICE to reflect minor changes to the project proposed by the applicant in response to concern raised about the original project design. The new design and layout of the boathouse will allow unobstructed passage on the existing "herd path" which runs along the shoreline in this area. Although there is no legal right-of-way , the applicant does not wish to obstruct the path.
The project involves the construction of a 14 foot by 18 foot boathouse adjacent to but not involving a scrub shrub fringe wetland associated with the project site's Cranberry Lake shoreline. The wooden boathouse will be constructed on concrete piers and have a removable ramp which will drop down to the lake. The ramp will bridge the wetland. No portion of the structure will be in the wetland. The boathouse will house only "car-top," portable boats, none on trailers, and will be set back from the shoreline approximately 15 feet.
