Negative Declaration

Ulster County - The Town of Shawangunk Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Sara Sax application will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application for a two lot subdivision of 60.2 acres. The project is located at 161 Sax Road, Wallkill, New York.

Positive Declaration

Westchester County - The State Education Department, as lead agency has determined that the proposed additions and alterations at the Waverly School in the Eastchester Union Free School District, SED Project No. 66-03-01-03-0-002-005, may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves 23,169 square feet of new additions. The project is located at 45 Hall Avenue in the Town of Eastchester.

Westchester County - The Town Board of Greenburgh, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Fortress Bible Church may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves approval for the construction of a school and a church on a 6.53 acre site. The project is located on the north side of Dibbs Ferry Road, immediately east of the Sprain Brook Parkway.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Rockland County - The Sloatsburg Village Board of Trustees, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Highland Homes Residential Community. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 21, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sloatsburg Village Hall, Orange Turnpike (RTE 17), Sloatsburg, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until September 11, 2000. The action involves a zone change and site plan approval in connection with a proposal to construct 321 townhome units and related infrastructure, including a sewage treatment plan, on several parcels of vacant land. The project is located within the Village of Sloatsburg.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Rockland County - The Town of Ramapo Planning Board, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Monroe Mansion Residential Health Care Facility. The action involves a special permit and site plan approval, among other development approvals, to allow the construction of a 120-bed nursing home facility and an adult day care center for 25 adults on a 12.6 acre parcel. The project is located at 200 Viola Road, Town of Ramapo.
