Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to construct 50 linear feet of bulkhead and two 4 foot returns seaward of apparent high water, dredge a 10 foot by 50 foot area to 4 feet below apparent low water with resultant 25 cubic yards of dredged material to be added to 25 cubic yards of clean fill to backfill the bulkhead, and install a 10 foot by 15 foot deck on the seaward side of the existing dwelling. Approximately 400 square feet of shoals, mudflats and littoral zone will be impacted/lost. The project is located at 3957 South Street, Seaford, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County.

 The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for a proposed discharge of 9360 gallons per day of reject water from a reverse osmosis desalinization system treating brackish water from a public water supply well field for potable use. Discharge is via injection well into saline groundwater from the Reverse Osmosis Treatment System located at the East Lake Drive Well and Pump Station, Montauk, New York, Town of East Hampton. Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to remove three finger piers and associated pilings on an existing dock and install a new floating dock consisting of nine finger piers and associated pilings. Both existing and proposed dock areas are located in an area that has been conditionally certified for shellfishing during the winter months. The portion of the proposed dock that will extend beyond (to the north) the existing marina perimeter will be removed on a seasonal basis during the winter months to minimize impacts to the conditional shellfish ing area. An upland stormwater drainage/infiltration system will be installed to reduce stormwater runoff to surface waters. The project is located at 95 East Shore Road, in the Village of Huntington Bay, Suffolk County.
