Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to add nine acres to an existing ten acre life of mine, sand and gravel mine. The existing mine currently utilizes a dry screen plant to process materials, and no changes in the method or manner of mining or processing sand and gravel is proposed. The site is located 400' west of the intersection of NYS Route 22 and Dill Brook Road in the Town of Petersburg, Rensselaer County.

 Construction: Applicant proposes to construct a new sewer treatment facility with associated access road, and install approximately 50,000 linear feet of sewer lines to service the proposed Duanesburg/Delanson Sewer District # 1. Project will involve fill and grading in the adjacent area of NYS wetland D-15, and fill of 0.17 acres, and temporary impacts to 0.18 acres of US ACOE regulated waters. Operation: The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for a proposed discharge of 100,000 gpd of treated wastewater into the Normanskill Creek, a Class C waterbody. Discharge would be from a new treatment facility located north of Cole Road in the Town of Duanesburg, Schenectady County
