Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Parma Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordiance will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to its existing zoning ordiance to allow home based businesses, with a special permit, in residential zoning districts. The revisions include criteria and procedures designed to protect the natural environment and the character of agricultural and residential areas of the Town. The project is located in the Town of Parma.

Positive Declaration

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and construction of a new Bus Maintenance Facility in the Brockport Central School District, SED Project No. 26-18-01-06-5-013-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the purchase of approximately 115 acres of land and 22,860 square feet of new construction. The project is located at 4599 & 4687 Redman Road in the Town of Sweden.

Monroe County - The City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Contracting Equipment Sales, Rental and Storage may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a draft EIS must be prepared. The action involves the legalization of a contracting equipment sales, storage and rental operation on an existing parcel which adjoins the Genesee River gorge. The use require Planning Commission approval of a special permit for such use within 200 feet of an O-S Open Space District. The project is located at 24 Spencer Street, Rochester.

Notice of Acceptance of a Revised Draft Environmental Impact Statement

Chemung County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed acquisitions of land adjacent to the Booth Elementary School in the Elmira City School District, SED Project No. 07-06-00-01-0-003-007. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until August 23,2000. The action involves the purchase of two sites adjacent to the existing property. The size of the proposed sites are .09 acres located at 358 Pomeroy Place and .066 acres located at 360 Pomeroy Place. Both locations are in the Town of Elmira.

Notice of Acceptance of a Final Environmental Impact Statement

Yates County - Yates County, as lead agency, has accepted a final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Yates County Court and Office Expansion and Renovation Project. The action involves the development of a new County Courthouse, County Office Building additions, new Building and Grounds building and parking for approximately 155 vehicles. The development will include the current 2.6 acre County Campus along with six adjacent parcels, bringing the total development to about 5.3 acres. All existing structures on the six other parcels will be removed, as will portions of the current County Campus buildings. The project is located at 110 Court Street, Village of Penn Yan, Yates County, New York.
