A Draft Request for Proposal (dRFP) is hereby issued to procure the services of an experienced contractor for the operation of the Tompkins County Recycling and Solid Waste Center in Ithaca, New York.
Pursuant to Section 120-w of the General Municipal Law, the issuance of this dRFP will be followed by a minimum sixty (60) day comment period, ending August 28, 2000. In order to be considered by the County, written comments in response to the dRFP must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2000 at the Tompkins County Finance Department, Purchasing Offices - 2nd Floor, Old Jail Building, 125 east Court St., Ithaca, New York 14850.

Cayuga County - The Cayuga County Water and Sewer Authority, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Potter Road project, the Turnpike Road extension project, and the Centerport Road extension project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Potter Road Project, which consists of approximately 7,000 linear feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances designed to serve residential customers and the Au Steel Recreation Complex in the Towns of Throop and Sennett; the Turnpike Road Extension Project which consists of approximately 2,600 linear feet of 12-inch water main and appurtenances; the Centerport Road Extension Project which consists of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances designed to serve customers south of Route 31 along Centerport Road. The projects are located in the County of Cayuga.

Onondaga County - The Onondaga County Water Authority, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Otisco Lake Water Treatment Plant Clearwell Upgrades will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvement to the effectiveness of the water treatment process. The Authority proposes to construct a 2 million gallon water storage tank (clearwell) at its existing Otisco Lake Water Treatment Plant. The project is located at 2460 Lawrence Road, Town of Marcellus, New York.
