Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Babylon, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Job #00-20AF, Daniel Land Co., LLC, (B.J.'s Wholesale) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves reclaiming an existing 10.1 acre recharge basin to construct a 108,532 sq.ft. retail building (B.J.'s) with a 6,120 sq.ft. gasoline station. The project is located south side Daniel Street, 1,155' west of Broadhollow Road (Route 110), Hamlet of East Farmingdale, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, New York.

Nassau County - The Board of Appeals of the Village of Roslyn Estates is conducting Public Scoping on the proposed Scope for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement regarding the variance application by the New Church of Greater New York. A public hearing will be held on August 1, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. All public comments should be set forth in writing and submitted to the Board of Appeals for consideration not later than 4:00 p.m. on July 25, 2000.
