Draft Negative Declaration for SERP Action

Monroe County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town of Perinton, as lead agency has determined that the Perinton Square Relief Sewer will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the installation of 1,200 LF of sanitary sewer through the Wegmans Plaza and 1,400 LF of sanitary sewer through Perinton Square. The project also involves 100 LF of boring and casing below NYS Route 250 (Moseley Road). All land proposed to be disturbed currently exists as paved parking lots. The project is located on the north side of NYS Route 31 (Pittsford-Palmyra Road) in the Wegmans Plaza and Perinton Square Plaza parking lots.

The project involves the installation of 600 LF of new 12 inch gravity sanitary sewer service from 190 High Street Extension to a nearby subdivision located to the southeast. The project also includes the installation of three manholes and will involve crossing East Pointe Road. The project is located east of Turk Hill Road and west of East Pointe Road in the north central portion of the Town of Perinton.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Perinton, as lead agency has determined that the proposed West Whitney Road/Lonesome Road Sanitary Sewer Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of 560 LF of new 8-inch sanitary sewer along the rear property line of 712, 720 and 728 Whitney Road and connection to the existing North Side Relief Sewer. The project will also include tunneling beneath an existing 36-inch diameter water main owned by the Monroe County Water Authority, the installation of sanitary sewer laterals to the edge of the easement lines and the installation of two manholes. The project is located east of Baird Road and northwest of the Lonesome Road/Whitney Road intersection in the northeastern part of the Town of Perinton.

Monroe County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Herbicide application of Crossbow to control Honeysuckle and Grey Stem Dogwood, Rush Oak Openings (Monroe #1), Stands A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1 and G-1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves applying an herbicide to control tartarian honeysuckle which is an aggressive exotic invasive plant species which threatens the health of the Oak Opening Plant community at Rush Oak Openings. Treatment will be a spot foliar application of 1.5% solution of Crossbow herbicide. Where non-target plants may be affected, dormant stem treatment or stems will be cut and stump treated with a 3% solution. Treatment area will be less than thirty acres. The project is located at Rusk Oak Openings (Monroe #1), Honeoye Falls-5 Pts. Road, Town of Rush.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Greece, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) by the Town Board of the Town of Greece. The action involves the plan for the use and protection of the coastal and inland waterways areas of Greece. Integrated within the LWRP is the Town of Greece Harbor Management Plan. The project is located on the coastal area of Lake Ontario and the inland waterway area of the Erie Canal. The Harbor Management Area for the Town of Greece includes all navigable waters within the two Local Waterfront Revitalization Area boundaries, including Lake Ontario, the Braddock Ponds, Braddock Bay, Salmon Creek, other associated streams and the Erie Canal.
