NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Representatives of the County of Otsego has issued a Draft Request for Proposals ("Draft RFP") pursuant to the provisions of General Municipal Law Section 120-w regarding its solid waste management activities. The purpose of the RFP is to receive proposals for the receipt, processing and/or marketing of designated recyclable materials collected from within Otsego County. The Draft RFP is available for viewing at the Otsego County Purchasing Department in Cooperstown, New York during regular business hours.
The public is invited to provide written comments on the Draft RFP. The public comment period for the Draft RFP concludes on September 11, 2000. |Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing|
Greene County - The Town of Prattsville, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed New Sewage Treatment Infrastructure Facilities Program for the Town of Prattsville. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 20, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Prattsville Town Hall, Main Street, Prattsville, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 4, 2000. The action involves the design and construction of a municipal sewage system consisting of an 86,000 gpd (maximum) wastewater treatment plant and approximately 4.34 miles of collection lines. The project is located on State Route 23, County Route 7, Town of Prattsville, New York.
