Project Description:
 The Town of Crown Point proposes the following municipal water system improvements to correct source, storage and distribution deficiencies: a new production well (taking up to 160 gallons per minute) as primary well at the Pearl St. well station; install 45,000 feet of distribution mains along Middle, Bradford Hill, Creek and Factoryville Roads, Church St. and NYS Rt. 22; and a new 350,000 gallon storage tank near the Town's closed landfill off Middle Rd. Water main installation involves three crossings of Putnam Creek, and one crossing of Rinnie Brook and Creamery Brook (all class C(T)). The project is located in the Hamlets of Crown Point, Factoryville and Crown Point Center.

Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to extract sand from a pit to be developed off Conger Road just to the north of the Adirondack Park boundary. Two acres are proposed to be disturbed by mining activities during the initial 5-year permit term that has been requested and a total of 4 acres will be disturbed during the life of the mine. No on-site processing of minerals will take place and approximately 10,000 cubic yards of sand will be removed annually. Reclamation of the mine site will consist of grading to stable slopes, followed by fertilizing, seeding and mulching to establish a vegetative cover. Approximately 1/2 acre will be reclaimed during the first permit term. The application can be reviewed by making an appointment with the contact person.

Project Description:
 The Town of Crown Point proposes the following improvements to the Diamond Point Water District, to comply with a State requirement to correct deficiencies in the existing system: new groundwater source, with two wells taking up to 200 gallons per minute; installation of a new storage tank, water treatment facility, transmission and distribution mains. Water main installation involves one stream crossing of Smith Brook (class AA Special). The project is located on Diamond Point Road, Hamlet of Diamond Point.
