Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to construct an industrial access road and railroad line spur into the 100' buffer area of regulated Freshwater Wetland S-4 a 1200 acre Class II mixed emergent, shrub and wooded wetland, in conjunction with Pase I developments of a light industry/office park. Wetland enhancement is incorporated in the development plan within the context of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement. The site is south of Arsenal Street in the southwestern area of the City.

Project Description:
 The project consists of repairs to an existing 100 year old dam to ensure long term structural integrity. Those repairs include repair to masonary spillway, the installation of a new slide gate, grouting of concrete as necessary, and repairs to the structure found when dewatering occurs. The placement of a cofferdam 3 feet in height upstream of the dam will allow all concrete work to be done in the dry. The project is located on Mile Creek 600 feet upstream of the Moose River Road crossing.
