Negative Declaration

Chemung County - The Chemung County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Vulcraft of New York, Inc., will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction and operation of a new 524,000 sq. ft. steeel fabrication facility that will employ an estimated 300 persons upon this 100-acre site beginning in mid-2001. The project is located on a 100-acre tract of farmland owned by Lloyd U.S.A. Development in the Town of Chemung.

Monroe County - The County of Monore, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Development of Monroe County Public Works Facility at the Gates-Chili-Ogden Sewage Treatment Plant will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the redevelopment of the Gates-Chili-Ogden Sewage Treatment Plant to a County Public Works facility for use by various Monroe County Departments. The project is located at 145 Paul Road, NYS Rte. 252A, Town of Chili.

Ontario County - The Town Board of the Town of Naples, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Acquisition of Lands for Naples Community Park, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of approximately 92 acres for the establishment of a park including the eventual installation of playing fields and other facilities. The project is located on part of Thomas and Martha Kelly's property, on the south side of NYS Route 245, Town of Naples, Ontario County.

Steuben County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and alterations to the Main Building in the Avoca Central School District, SED Project No.57-02-01-04-0-002-006, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the purchase of 1/3 acre of land adjacent to existing property. The project is located on Oliver Street in the Village of Avoca.

Steuben County - The Town Board of the Town of Corning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gibson Water District Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the connection of a new ground water source, upgrading of a new storage tank and the upgrading of the distribution system. The project is located in the Town of Corning, Gibson Water District to Corning Manor Water District, Steuben County.
