Project Description:
 In order to provide adequate boat launching capacity for its membership, the applicant is proposing to dredge approximately 1100 cubic yards of sediment at its existing launch site, in an area measuring 150 feet x 100 feet x 2 feet deep, from Dunkirk Harbor. The dredged material will be placed in the existing, authorized U.S. Army Corps of Engneers open lake site located one mile north of Dunkirk Harbor in Lake Erie. The proposed dredging site is located in Dunkirk Harbor, approximately at Lake Shore Drive (Highway 5) and Central Avenue in the City of Dunkirk.

Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to remove gravel from a 200 lineal ft. gravel bar along Mill Creek. The gravel will be removed by a skimming type operation and all removal will occur above the normal low water elevation of Mill Creek at the site. The project is located at the applicant's property, Center Road, immediately upstream of the Center Road bridge, which is approximately 3,500 feet southwest of the intersection of Center and Harper Roads.

Project Description:
 The Department has prepared a modified draft SPDES Permit (#NY-0027570), fact sheets describing the proposed Water Quality Based Limits, and made a tentative determination to approve this modification. The applicant has requested this change to enable treatment of leachate, not to exceed 28,000 gpd,from the Chautauqua County Landfill at Ellery at the Jamestown Wastewater Treatment Plant, located on Quanit Rd. in the Town of Poland. The WWTP currently is authorized to discharge 12 MGD of treated wastewater into the Cassadaga Creek (class C water) and that limit will not be changed by this modification. The draft permit is available for inspection at the Region 9 Office upon request.
