Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Macedon, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2000 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2000 to establish and locate a Salvage, Recycling, Screening, Processing and Composting Overlay district in accordance with section 135-187 of chapter 135 (zoning) of the Macedon Town Code. The project is located on approximately 12 acres of land located south of Quaker Road and east of the Monroe County Line in the Town of Macedon.

Wayne County - The Village of Palmyra Village Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Canal Street Revitalization will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Canal Street Revitalization project which involves streetscape and related infrastructure improvements within the Canal Street area, new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, water, sewer and drainage facilities, parking, lighting, plantings and signs. The project is located on Canal Street between Market Street and Rte 31, Village of Palmyra.

Revised Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Yates County - The Yates County, as lead agency has revised its notice of acceptance of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Yates County Court and Office Expansion and Renovation Project. A public hearing on the EIS was held on May 25, 2000. The original comment period was scheduled to end on June 5, 2000, however, the comment period has now been extended and comments are requested and will be accepted by the contact person until June 24, 2000. The action involves the development of a new County Courthouse, County Office Building, additions, new building and grounds building and parking for approximately 155 vehicles. The development will include the current 2.6 acre County Campus along with six adjacent parcels bringing the total development to about 5.3 acres. The project is located at 110 Court Street, Penn Yan, New York.
