Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to construct an approximate 36 ft. high "Class B" earthen dam, creating a 4.5 acre impoundment. The purpose of the proposal is to provide a source of water to create snow for ski slopes and to irrigate the golf courses. Additionally, a pipeline will be constructed in order to pump water from existing storage ponds to the proposed reservoir and to connect to existing distribution (irrigation and snow making) lines. The project is located at the applicant's facility, Peek n Peak Resort and Conference Center, 1405 Olde Road, immediately south of the intersection of Pekin and Gilmore Roads.

Project Description:
 The Department has drafted a permit pursuant to Article 19, Air Pollution Control, of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law and Title V of the Federal Clean Air Act Amendments for the existing permitted emissions for Dinaire LLC, located at 145 Gruner Road. This manufacturing facility has three permitted emission units for finishes applied to wooden furniture. The facility is permitted primarily under the following regulations: 6NYCRR Part 201-6 (requires firm to obtain a Title V permit) and 6NYCRR Part 228 Reasonable Available Control Technology for volatile organic compounds. The facility is subject to VOC and HAP emission limits to cap the facility below the applicability thresholds of 6NYCRR Part 231-2 and 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart JJ. The application and draft permit are available for review at the Region 9 office in Buffalo. In accordance with 6NYCRR Part 621.5(d)9 & 210-6.4(c), the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency has the authority to bar issuance of any Title V facility permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6NYCRR Part 210.

 The applicant proposes to install collection piping with gravel backfill and a 3 foot by 3 foot tank within the adjacent area of a Class I NYS Freshwater Wetland identified as SP-7, to collect 28,000 gallons per day of spring water.
