Negative Declaration

Chenango County - The County of Chenango Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Twin Valley, Wood Molding Mill Facility, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction and equipping of a facility on one-half acre of land. The project is located in the Town of Bainbridge, County of Chenango, westerly side of NYS Rte. 8.

Onondaga County - The Town of Onondaga Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Onondaga Hill Water District Extension No.11 to be known as the South Onondaga Water District, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 40,000 l.f. of 8, 10, and 12 inch water mains and appurtenances. The project is located in the Town of Onondaga and will be adjacent to properties on Abbey Road, Makyes Road, Coal Road, Industrial Road and Cedervale Road.

Tioga County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and additions/alterations to the Owego Free Academy High School in the Owego-Apalachin Central School District, SED Project No.60-06-01-06-0-009-011, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the purchase of 24.9 acres of land and 110,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located at 1 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in the Town of Owego. No unmitigated adverse environmental effects are revealed.

Positive Declaration

Onondaga County - The Town of Salina Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Zone Change, may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a zone change from R-O District to 0-1 district on 33 acres located at the corner of Hopkins Road and Buckley road in the Town of Salina.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Broome County - The Town of Vestal Town Board, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Shoppes at Vestal. The action involves rezoning, site plan and related approvals for demolition and redevelopment of the former Italian Food Manufacturers site as a commercial retail center to be known as the Shoppes at Vestal. The project is located northwest corner of Vestal Parkway (SR 434) and African Road across African Road from Town Square Mall.

Tompkins County - The City of Ithaca Common Council, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Southwest Area Land Use Plan. The action involves adoption of the Southwest Area Land Use Plan as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. The plan would guide the future land use and development of 381 acres, 160 of which are vacant, in the southwest area of the city. The project is located in part of the City lying south of Clinton Street, west of Meadow Street and Elmira Road, east of the Flood Control Channel, and noth of the incorporated southern limits of the City and Town of Ithaca.
