Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to create the VanDenBergh Estates residential subdivision consisting of 94 single family residences on a 66.3 acre parcel located at the southwest juncture of Schermerhorn and Old Loudon Roads. The project would directly impact 1.84 acres of federally regulated wetlands. Project mitigation would include the creation of 2.08 acres of wetlands at the project site, and creation of 1.33 acres and enhancement of 0.09 acres of wetlands off-site at the owner's Newton Plaza location, which is located at the northwest juncture of Maxwell Road and Route 9. The off-site mitigation area is associated with DEC regulated wetland A-9. The State Historic Preservation Office has indicated that certain archaeological investigations can proceed during project construction.

Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to conduct stream restoration work on a 6,330 linear feet of the Batavia Kill, to be conducted in two phases. Phase I encompasses a 5,330 foot section from the county bridge at Peck Road to the county bridge at County Route 56. This phase includes stabilizing eroded areas, cross vanes/rock vanes, tree plantings, reconstruction of a functional floodplain area adjacent to the new channel, and relocation of a private bridge and new abutments. Phase II encompasses an 800 foot reach upstream of the bridge at County Route 56, and includes gravel removal, removal of a buried beaver dam, 3 cross vanes, and 2 rock vanes and will be integrated with the bridge replacement being conducted by the Town of Windham. The project is located on the Batavia Kill from Peck Road to 800' upstream of County Route 56, in the Town of Windham, Greene County.
