Project Description:
The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for an existing discharge of 80 gallons per day of wastewater into the groundwaters. The applicant operates a wine making facility. The discharge also includes sanitary waste for the employees and visitors. The facility is located on the east side of Wing Road and north of Shunpike. A draft permit is available for inspection and comment at the Region 3 office.

Project Description:
The Department has prepared a Draft Permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the NYS Environmental Conservation Law (ECL) and the Federal Clean Air Act Amendments and made a tentative determination to approve this application for World Beverage Headquarters located in the Town of Somers, Westchester County, New York. The facility is the Pepsi Bottling Group Headquarters. It is an auxiliary establishment primarily engaged in performing management and other general administrative functions. The facility has two natural gas/diesel fueled generators and two-gas fired chillers. The facility is subject to Part 227-2, entitled Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) for Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx). The generators are equipped with exhaust gas recirculation and catalytic convertors to reduce emissions of NOx. In accordance with 6NYCRR Parts 621.5(d) (9) and 201-6.4(c), the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has the authority to bar issuance of any Title V Facility Permit if its is determined not to be in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act of 6NYCRR Part 201. The Application and Draft Permit are available for review at the Regional Office of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
