Jefferson County - The Town Board of the Town of Lyme, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Town of Lyme Water District #1, District Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves proposed improvements to the Water District connected to the Regional Waterline operated by the Development Authority of the North Country rather than continuing to be connected to the Village of Chaumont water system. The project is located in the Town of Lyme.

St. Lawrence County - The Board of Trustees Village of Potsdam, as lead agency has rescinded the resolution of September 3, 1999 accepting the optional written scope for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement regarding the pending annexation proceeding and proposed commercial development of a Wal-Mart Retail Center and accepting a draft revised optional scope for same. Written comments on the revised Scoping Document will be accepted until June 1, 2000. The project is located in the Village of Potsdam.

Jefferson County - The Watertown City Council, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed City Center Industrial Park. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 5, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 245 Washington Street, Watertown, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 21, 2000. The action involves a proposed industrial park to be developed on 128.4 acres of land in the City of Watertown, New York. At full build-out the project is anticipated to include almost 575,000 square feet of building floor space, approximately 790,000 square feet of parking area and 7,300 linear feet of internal road. The project location is the development of 16 individual lots and an internal road system that connects with Bellew Avenue, City Center Drive West, and Haney Street, Watertown, New York.
