Project Title: Subdivision by Donald McClarren, Jr. et.al.

Project description: The action involves the subdivision of 98.628 acres into seven lots, including three lots on the west side of County Route 138 being authorized after-the-fact and four lots east of Route 138. The three lots west of County Route 138 are: Tax Map No. 107-1-33.11 (13.4 acres), Tax Map No. 107-1-33.12 (5.9 acres) and Tax Map No. 107-1-33.2 (9.4 acres). There are existing single family dwellings on parcels 33.12 and 33.2. Parcel 33.11 is vacant. The four lots on the west side of the road are all being created prospectively from Tax Map No. 107-1-34.11 and include Lot 1 - 34.025 acres, Lot 2A -1.099 acres, Lot 2B - 1.462 and Lot 3 - 33.342 acres . There is an existing mobile home on Lot 2B and an existing single family dwelling on Lot 3. Lots 1 and 2A are vacant. One new single family dwelling with on-site water supply and wastewater treatment systems is proposed for Lot 2A. There is a small pond immediately adjacent to the east side of Route 138 and wetlands along Chase Creek along the northern boundary of Tax Map Parcel 33.11.

Project description: The action involves the construction of a Public Building, a proposed 50' by 100' metal building with a poured-in-place concrete foundation as a storage facility for the County Sign Shop, traffic paint storage, and cold storage. This facility will be part of the existing maintenance and repair shop complex, and is being constructed to meet OSHA requirements. Existing water and wastewater facilities shall be utilized.

Clinton and Franklin Counties - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency has determined that the proposed modification to the New York Power Authority's permit for vegetation management with herbicides, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Franklin County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Senter Gravel Pit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves expansion of an existing 4-acre gravel pit to a 24-acre pit. The project is located at the property of Charles E. Senter north of Miller Road and west of Dineen Road in the Town of Constable.

Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Warren County - The Adirondack Park Agency, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Map Amendment 99-6. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 14, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the Town Hall, Town of Queensbury, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York 12804. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 23, 2000 at Adirondack Park Agency, Route 86, Ray Brook, New York 12977. The action involves the amendments of the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County (Map Amendment 99-6) to reclassify approximately 126.4 acres pursuant to the Adirondack Park Agency Act, Section 805(c)(1) in the following manner:
Area A: Resource Management to Moderate Intensity Use; 15 acres
Area B: Resource Management to Low Intensity Use; 55 acres
Area C: Resource Management to Low Intensity Use; 50 acres
Area D: Low Intensity Use to Moderate Intensity Use; 6.4 acres
The project is located Town of Queensbury, Warren County.
