Chenango County - The City of Norwich Common Council, as lead agency has determined that the proposed YMCA Building Project, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a new 65,000 sq.ft. YMCA facility including demolition of existing facility and six houses and the closing of Turner Street. Two historically significant houses will be relocated to the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown. The project is located in the City of Norwich.

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Dickinson, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Manley's Mighty-Mart, LLC. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 5, 2000 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dickinson Town Hall, 842 Front Street, Binghamton, New York 13905. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 8, 2000. The action involves the construction and operation of a convenience store and gas station. The project is located at 879-881 Front Street (US Route 11) in the Town.
