Project Description:
The applicants propose to establish a facility perimeter around the existing Swiss Marina on Lake Flower in the Village of Saranac Lake and obtain a permit to replace and reconfigure docks at the marina. There will be no expansion of the marina and the total number of slips will decrease by approximately 14 due to the increased width of slips in the new galvanized steel/wood floating docks which will be installed. The facility perimeter will encompass an area of 78,271 square feet and docks will be arranged so as not to interfere with navigation on the lake nor the viewshed from the adjacent from an adjacent motel.
