Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town Board, Town of Wallkill, as lead agency has determined that the Water Supply Improvement, Town of Wallkill, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves new wells PW-3 at Crystal Run; K-5 at Kosuga; and B-10, B-11 and B-12 at Braeside, to be connected to the water supply system. Existing wells 5, 6, and 7 will be abandoned. New iron and manganese removal system will be installed at Crystal Run. The Iron and manganese removal system at Braeside will be upgraded. New corrosion control consisting of pH adjustment and phosphate passivation will be added at both Braeside and Crystal Run. The project is located at Goshen Turnpike as well as Golf Links Road, Town of Wallkill, New York.

Orange County - The City of Middletown, Common Council, as lead agency had determined that the Master Plan/Zoning Ordinance Adoption, will not have a significant environmental impact. The action involves the Common Council accepting a draft copy of the updated Master Plan, as well as an updated Zoning Code based on its recommendations, in January of this year. Finding that the plan is based on current data, methods and trends and that the Zoning Code and Map are based on its recommendations, the Common Council of the City of Middletown deemed the revised Master Plan and Zoning code and Map a public benefit and moved for its adoption. The project is located in the City of Middletown located in the central portion of Orange County, and is generally encompassed by the Town of Wallkill except for a small southern portion of the City, which is bound to the south by the Town of Wawayanda.

Orange County - The Town of Blooming Grove Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the Country Woods/Bull Mill Subdivisions will not have a significant environmental impact. The action involves Country Woods/Bull Ridge Subdivisions located on Cromwell Hill Road in the Town of Blooming Grove (Section 55, Block 1, Lot 30.2) and on Bull Mill Road in the Town of Blooming Grove (Section 55, Block 1, Lot 26.22) and on Lori Lane in the Town of Chester (Section 5, Block 1, Lot 2.2), including 35 residential lots, 2 sewer treatment lots, and one annexation lot in the Town of Blooming Grove and 8 residential lots in the Town of Chester. The project is located on Cromwell Hill Road and Bull Mill Road in the Town of Blooming Grove, New York.

Putnam County - The State Education Department, as lead agency has determined that the proposed land acquisition and construction of a New High School in the Haldane Central School District, SED Project No. 48-04-01-04-0-008-001, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of 4 acres of land adjacent to existing property and 77,010 square feet of new construction. The project is located at 15 Craigside Drive in Cold Spring, New York.

Sullivan County - The Town Board, Town of Fremont, as lead agency has determined that the Long Eddy Water District will not have a significant environmental impact. The action involves replacement of a privately owned and abandoned water supply by creating a Town Water District and the installation of two water wells, a well house, a water storage tank, approx. 4,000 feet of water mains, valves, service lines, meters and appurtenances. The project is located in the Hamlet of Long Eddy, Town of Freemont.

Sullivan County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the Tri-Valley Central School District's proposed Main High School Building additions and alterations, Control No. 59-12-01-04-0-001-020, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project is in Grahamsville, NY.

Westchester County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed addition and alterations to the Pierre Van Cortlandt School in the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District, SED Project No. 66-02-02-03-0-002-012, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of 43,000 square feet. The project is located on Glen Place in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson.

Westchester County - The State Education Department, as lead agency has determined that the proposed addition and alterations to the Senior High School in the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District, SED Project No. 66-02-02-03-0-001-015, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of 38,000 square feet. The project is located at 36 Old Post Road South in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson.
