Project Description:
THE APPLICANT PROPOSES THE PERMITTING AND CONTINUED OPERATION OF A SAND AND GRAVEL MINE. THE TOTAL LIFE OF MINE WILL BE 8.09 ACRES ON A 158 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND, OF WHICH 6.3 ACRES HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN DISTURBED. PERIODIC SCREENING MAY BE USED ON SITE FOR AGGREGATE PREPARATION AND TOPSOIL SCREENING. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED ON BEACH ROAD, JUST WEST OF NYS ROUTE 26, IN THE TOWN OF WILLET, CORTLAND COUNTY.
