Suffolk County - The Southold Town Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Set-off for John Tuthill will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposal for a clustered set-off of a 0.574 acre lot from an existing 35.918 acre parcel. The project is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Main Road and Rackett's Court, Orient, New York.

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Brookhaven, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Site Plan Application of Emanon Office Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of 28,960 sf, 2-story bank/office building with associated parking and site improvements. The project is located on the southeast corner LIE and Horseblock Road.

Positive Declaration

Nassau County - The Village of Old Westbury Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Little Village School may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction of a private school on a 10-acre site located within the village's B-4 residential zoning district. The site is currently undeveloped and it consists of wooded areas and open field. The proposed building would have a total floor area of 43,400 square feet and 253 parking spaces. The project is located in the Village of Old Westbury, south side of Store Hill Road, approximately 2,000 feet east of the Powell's Lane intersection.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Brookhaven, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed construction of a industrial building by American Tissue. A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement will be held on May 8, 2000 at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Building 4, Brookhaven Town Offices, 3233 Route 112, Medford, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 22, 2000. The action involves a Site Plan Application of American Tissue to construct a 584,808 s.f. industrial building consisting of 4,000 s.f. office use; 290,404 s.f. warehouse use; and 290,404 s.f. manufacturing with parking, drainage, sanitary, etc. The project is located N/S Long Island Expressway N. Service Rd., 99.5' W/O CR 101.

Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Roslyn Harbor, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Zoning Ordinance of Roslyn Harbor. The action involves the repeal of the existing Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Roslyn Harbor and enact "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Roslyn Harbor, Nassau County, New York of 1999"; which will promote the health, safety and the general welfare of the community and its natural resources while guiding the development and redevelopment of the Village of Roslyn Harbor.
