Chenango County - The Chenango County Industrial Development Agency as lead agency has determined that the proposed Braille Lumber Co. Kilns and Building Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of approximately 14 drying kilns totaling approximately 23,000 square feet, addition to an existing lumber storage building totaling approximately 102,000 square feet and replacement of a boiler house. The project will affect approximately five acres. The project is located on School Street, Village of Smyrna, NY.

Onondaga County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed additions and alterations to the Central High School in the East Syracuse – Minoa Central School District, SED Project No. 42-04-01-06-0-021-006, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves 40,120 square feet of new additions on existing property. The project is located at 6400 Fremont Road in the Town of Manlius.

Onondaga County - The Town of DeWitt, as lead agency has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Boulder Heights Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on April 13, 2000 at 7:00p.m. at the Town of DeWitt Town Offices, 5400 Butternut Drive, DeWitt, New York. Written Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until April 24, 2000. The project is located in the Town of DeWitt.

|Notice of Acceptance of a Final EIS|
Cayuga County - The Cayuga County IDA, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Cayuga County Chipfab. The action involves the construction of one, two or three chipfabs on its 200-acre parcel on NYS Rts. 5 and 20, west of the City of Auburn. Chipfabs manufacture semi-conductor materials for use in technological products. CCIDA has found that the development of two fabs is the preferred option since it will achieve the maximum benefit to the community with the minimum of negative impacts. Those impacts that will result are described in the DEIS. The project upon completion would employ about 5250 people and have an estimated value of $1.7 billion. The project is located on NYS Rts. 5 and 20, west of Auburn, NY, in the Town of Aurelius, Cayuga County.
