Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to construct a stormwater management system and sanitary sewers within the Sweetbrook Watershed, located roughly between Huguenot Ave. and Ocean View Cemetery, northwest of Hylan Blvd., Staten Island. About 18 miles of sanitary and 26.5 miles of storm sewers would be installed, along with four "best management practice" structures, including stream recreation and enhancement, stilling basins, culverts and wetland plantings. The applicant estimates that about 1.4 acres of freshwater wetlands would be lost due to sewer operation, and that about 4.7 acres of new wetlands would be created in and near the BMPs.

About 5 miles of sanitary and 6 miles of storm sewers would be installed, along with three "best management practice" structures, including culverts, stilling basins, weir improvements, and created wetland marsh plantings.
