Project Description:

THE MATERIAL REMOVED WILL BE TRUCKED AWAY AND SPREAD EVENLY ON AN ADJACENT FIELD, COVERED WITH CLEAN TOPSOIL AND RESEEDED. Project Description:
The applicant proposes to replace a culvert carrying Timp Brook Road over a tributary of Lake Tiorati Brook (DEC Water Index No. H-43-4; Class A). The project is located on the west side of Bulsontown Road (Rockland Co. Rte. 69), approximately 0.47 mile north of the intersection with Wayne Ave. (Rockland Co. Rte. 77). The previous culvert and about 100 feet of Timp Brook Road were washed out by Hurricane Floyd. The replacement culvert will be a concrete box culvert approximately 15 feet wide by 90 feet long. Over the new culvert, approximately 2,500 cubic yards of fill will be placed and about 100 feet of Timp Brook Road will be reconstructed.

Project Description:
The NYSDEC has reviewed an application for a Part 373 Permit for an existing hazardous waste storage and treatment facility and made a tentative decision to issue the permit. A draft permit has been prepared pursuant to 373-2. Dyno Nobel is currently authorized to operate the facility under Interim Status pursuant to Part 373. Dyno Nobel manufactures electric and non-electric detonators, and generates hazardous wastes from its operations. Dyno Nobel stores the hazardous wastes within 9 storage units and operates a Detonation Chamber for the deactivation of off-specification detonators. Copies of the draft Part 373 permit, the application and Fact Sheet are available for review at the NYSDEC Office (Attn: Lawrence Biegel), and are also available at NYSDEC, 50 Wolf Rd., Rm 452, Albany NY 12233-7251 (Eric Blackwell 518- 485-8400) and the Information Repository established at the Town of Esopus Town Hall, 172 Broadway, Port Ewen NY. A Public Availabilty Session is scheduled on May 24, 2000 starting at 7:00 p.m.at the Town Hall to answer any questions from the public, to be followed by a public hearing to receive comments on the draft Permit. Project Description:
The applicant proposes to rehabilitate and replace an existing seawall, and replace an existing floating dock and gangway along the shore of Delancey Cove. The project site is located at 1209 Greacen Point Road in the Village of Mamaroneck. Approximately 445 linear feet of stone-faced concrete seawall will be constructed in the same location as the existing sea wall. Re-construction of the seawall will involve the placement of about 83 cubic yards of fill below the Mean High Water Line of the cove. The existing floating dock, which extends about 25 feet from the shoreline, will be replaced by a gangway 40 feet long by 4 feet wide and a floating dock 30 feet long by 10 feet wide to be moored with chains and anchors, which will extend about 61 feet from the shoreline.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to install a patio 12 feet wide by 15 feet long, and a deck 20 feet wide by 30 feet long within the 100-foot adjacent area of DEC Freshwater Wetland K-19 (Class II). The project site is located on the east side of Byram Ridge Road approximately 0.7 mile north of the intersection with Greenway Road. The project also involves the reduction of the existing lawn area by the establishment of 35 foot buffer area next to the wetland. To enhance the 35-foot buffer area a 15-foot wide strip next to the wetland will be planted with native shrubs and small trees; and a 20-foot wide strip will be graded to a 2% slope away from the wetland and planted with grass, which will be left unmown.
