New Notices for ENB Issue of March 29, 2000: 3

Revised Notice of Public Hearing - Linda and Alex Vaizburd requested a modification of their existing Tidal Wetlands permit for placement of two rows of four wooden fence posts, with galvanized chain suspended from them, between an existing temporary fence and the high water mark located at 3861 Oceanview Avenue, Seagate, New York (Kings County).

A hearing for public comment will be held on May 11, 2000 at 10:30am. The Issues Conference will be held immediately following the public hearing. Requests for Party Status must be submitted no later than close of business on May 9, 2000.

John F. Tubridy applied to the NYSDEC for a tidal wetlands permit, a protection of waters permit and a water quality certification to construct a driveway by providing a bulkhead and stone backfill in a regulated tidal wetland in Jamaica Bay at 35 Van Burnt Road in the Broad Channel area of Queens County.

A hearing for public comment will be held on May 9, 2000 at 9:30am. The Issues Conference will be held immediately following the public hearing. Requests for Party Status must be submitted on or before May 5, 2000.

Caroline Nicholson has applied to the NYSDEC for a tidal wetlands permit to construct a sixty (60) feet by one hundred and twenty five (125) feet two story building for use as a funeral home at the southeast corner of Whitewood Blvd and Merrick Road in the Village of Massapequa Park, Nassau County.

A hearing for public comment will be held on May 4, 2000 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
