Project Description:
The applicant proposes to modify approximately 2.7 acres of freshwater wetland BY-11 to create a total of four acres of openwater by excavating approximately 20,000 cubic yards of soil, and constructing several deep water pools, a berm and two nesting/loafing islands. The wetland enhancement project is located in the Town of Byron, southeast of the intersection of Warboys Road and Merrill Road. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the Regional Office of NYS DEC.

Project Description:
The Town of Pavilion proposes to take a supply of water estimated to average 100,000 gallons per day from the Village of LeRoy sources including Lake LeRoy, Lake LaGrange, and Silver Lake to replace the main source of supply to the existing Pavilion Water Districts 1, 2, and 3 due to water quality problems observed in the Town of Pavilion sources. The project includes the installation of 20,000 lf of 8-inch water main and appurtenances along Dillon, Perry, Walker and South Street Roads to connect the existing town distribution system to the Village of LeRoy Water Treatment Plant. The project also includes regulated freshwater wetland crossings (LE-13 and LE-14) with the proposed water mains. Draft Article 15 (Water Supply) and Article 24 (Freshwater Wetland) permits are available for review and comment at the regional office.
