Project Description:
This Department has drafted an initial permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the Enviornmental Conservation Law, an Air State Facility Permit, at the existing facility located at New York State Route 58 North in the Hamlet of Natural Dam which manufactures paper products for the Emission Unit 0-00001. This permit includes Federally enforceable conditions to limit SO2 and NOx and considered to "cap" emissions below the applicable threshold level set forth in 6 NYCRR Parts 225 and 227. The draft permit, with conditions, is available for review in the Region 6 NYS DEC Office in Watertown, NY.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct an earthen flow over dam approximately 300' long x 4' high and two vernal pool potholes, one 24,000 square feet and one 42,000 square feet as part of a Wetland Reserve Program, wildlife habitat improvement project in cooperation with the U.S. Natural Resources Conservation Service. The site is located approximately 1200' northwest of Reagon Road, 1 mile west of the Parishville-Norfolk Road and Reagon Road intersection, two miles south of Stockholm Center.
