Negative Declaration

Otsego County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed land acquisition and construction of a New Bus Garage for the Oneonta City School District, SED Project No. 47-14-00-01-5-019-001, will not have a significant environmental impact. The action involves the purchase of 3 acres of land and 13,500 square feet of new construction. The project is located on Silas Lane in the Town of Oneonta.

Schenectady County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed addition and alteration to the Jefferson Elementary School in the Schalmont Central School District, SED Project No. 53-05-01-06-0-005-010, will not have a significant environmental impact. The action involves the addition of 25,500 square feet of construction. The project is located at 100 Princetown Road in the Town of Rotterdam.

The action involves the purchase of 2.3 acres of land and 6,680 square feet of new construction. The project is located on U.S. Route 10 in the Town of Harpersfield.

The action involves the purchase of 75 acres of land adjacent to existing property. The project is located on Stockton Avenue in the Village of Walton.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Otsego County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed acquisition of land for the Morris Central School District, SED Project No. 47-12-01-04-0-001-007. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until April 7, 2000. The action involves the purchase of 90 acres located at 65 Main Street in the Town of Morris.
