Project Description:
A Statewide State Facility Air Permit, with appropriate conditions, is required for the operation of a mobile soil remediation unit at any site requiring soil remediation in New York State. Soil contaminated with petroleum or petroleum distillates is burned to destroy those products with an efficiency of at least 97%. The facility will be "capped out" of Title V Facility Permit Regulations by limiting the hours of operation to 3264 hours per year (136 days for 24 hours per day). The design includes air pollution control devices.
