Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Village of Bayville Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP), will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) pursuant to the NYS Waterfront Revitalization of Coastal Areas and Inland Waterways Act, adoption of various related amendments to the Village's Code and adoption of the Village of Bayville Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Consistency Law. The project is located in the Village of Bayville.

Suffolk County - The Town of Riverhead Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Silver Village will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of 93.47 acres of land zoned Residential ĎA' and Agricultural ĎA' into 80 single and separate parcels of from about 40,000 square feet to about 152 square feet. As an alternative to the buildout of single-family dwellings, the applicant has proposed a 281 cluster of 78 of the 80 units established as yield by the major split as semi-attached condominiums and amenities to be located on about 40.3 acres with 45 acres split off as a farmstead lot and 8.2 acres as a single-family building lot. Such a cluster (as either single, detached or condo units) is permitted in the Residence A and Agriculture A zones under Article XIX of the Town Code. The project is located on the eastside of West Lane, approximately 3,000 feet south of Sound Avenue and south of Sound Avenue approximately 1,300 feet east of West Lane, Aquebogue Hamlet, Riverhead Township.

Nassau County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed additions and alterations to the Alberta Schultz Middle School in the Hempstead Union Free School District, SED Project No.28-02-01-03-0-001-015, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves 190,000 square feet of new additions. The project is located at 70 Greenwich Street in the Town of Hempstead.

Positive Declaration and Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Nassau County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has required and accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed additions and alterations to the Northedge Pre-K and Kindergarten in the Plainedge Union Free School District, SED Project No. 28-05-18-03-0-009-005. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until April 3, 2000. The action involves the demolition of a single story building and approximately 131,513 square feet of new additions on existing property. The project is located at 200 Stewart Avenue in Oyster Bay, New York.
