Kings County (Brooklyn) - The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ocean Hill URA, 1st Amendment, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan and the disposition of City-owned land to permit the construction/rehabilitation of approximately 1,490 dwelling units of affordable housing, the designation of three sites as public open space and a rezoning of a nine-block area. The project is located at Ralph Avenue to the west, Fulton Street to the north, Van Sinderen Avenue to the east and East New York Avenue to the south; the top portion of the area is bounded by Rockaway Avenue to the west, Broadway to the north, Van Sinderen Avenue to the east and Atlantic Avenue to the south.

Kings County (Brooklyn) - The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR), acting as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) analyzing the potential effects of the proposed Baseball Stadium at Steeplechase Park. The stadium would be developed on Steeplechase Park and would include: a minor league baseball field, including bullpens and dugouts for the home and visiting teams; seating for approximately 6,500 patrons (with the potential for an additional 1,000 bleacher seats); clubhouse and locker room facilities, security, maintenance, office and administration space, and service areas; press boxes, concession areas, a landscaped public plaza with seating, and street-level retail uses fronting Surf Avenue; and parking to accommodate approximately 1,158 vehicles. The project is located at Block 7071, Lot 100; Block 7071, Lot 142; Block 7072, Lot 14 (part); Block 7073, Lot 1 (part); and the roadbeds of West 16th and West 19th Streets between Surf Avenue and Riegelmann Boardwalk
