Project Description:
The applicant proposes to excavate topsoil, above the water table, from a surface unconsolidated formation on 4.5 acres during the initial permit permit term on a 9.9 acre mining facility on a 16.9 acre parcel. The site will be reclaimed for agricultural use. No screening or processing will occur on-site. The mine, known as the Coffin Topsoil Project, is located west of Peck Road in the Town of Richland.
