Negative Declaration

Allegany County - The Town of Hume Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Town of Hume Water Supply Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvements to the water supply system, including erection of new storage tanks, construction of new source well and well house, installation of pressure filtration unit and installation of new watermains, valves, hydrants service connections and water meters. The project is located in the Town of Hume.

The action involves the purchase of 1.35 acres. The project is located on Main Street in the Village of Randolph.

Erie County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed addition and alterations to the Junior Senior High School in the Cheektowaga Central School District, SED Project No. 14-07-01-06-0-001-009, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an addition of 74,150 square feet on existing property. The project is located at 3600 Union Road in the Town of Cheektowaga.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Erie County - The Town of Grand Island Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Town Center Master Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on March 6, 2000 at 8:00 PM at the Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Rd., Grand Island . The action involves the proposed Amendment of Town Comprehensive Plan for the Town Center, pursuant to a proposed plan prepared by the Town's Long-Range Planning Committee. The Plan would increase densities permitted in the area, expand commercial zones, and create a loop road. The project is located in the Town of Grand Island.
