Negative Declarations

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Flannery Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed clustered 31 lot subdivision based on a conventional 80,000 square foot lot plan. Clustered areas decreased road frontage and access to County Route 52 while preserving 26.7 acres of the 76.1 acre site. The project is located at the southeast corner of Hill Avenue (CR 52) and West Searsville Road in the Town of Montgomery.

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Pimm Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed subdivision of a 140.41 acre farm into 14 single family residential lots averaging 10 acres in area. The project is located on East Searsville Road between South Searsville Road and Mills Road in the Town of Montgomery.

Positive Declaration

Westchester County - The City of White Plains Board of Appeals, as lead agency has determined that the proposed German School, Special Permit Amendment may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an amendment to the existing Special Permit for a Private Elementary and Secondary School within a R1-12.5 Single Family Residential Zoning District to expand the school facility onto an adjacent property at 800 North Street; to construct a new driveway and parking areas with access directly to North Street; to convert the existing residence to administrative offices; and to increase the maximum student enrollment, incrementally over five years, from the established 375 students to a maximum enrollment of 500 students. The project is located near the intersection of Ridgeway and North Street (State Route 127) White Plains, Westchester County, and includes two adjacent land parcels: 50 Partridge Road, 800 North Street.

Notice of Public Scoping

Orange County - The Town of Wawayanda Planning Board, as lead agency has received a draft scope for the proposed Lakeridge Subdivision. The proposed project consists of a 19 lot subdivision in an Agricultural District. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until February 25, 2000. The project is located on Ridgebury Road in the Town of Wawayanda.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery Planning Board, as lead agency has accepted a draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Village at Goodwill. A public hearing on the draft EIS will be held on March 27, 2000 at 7:00 PM at the Montgomery Town Hall . Written comments on the draft EIS will be accepted until 10 days following the close of the hearing. The action involves the proposed Planned Adult Community which will consist of 500 units to be constructed on a 191.6 acre site. The project is located on Goodwill Road opposite Neelytown Road and west of Route 208, adjacent to the Village of Montgomery in the Town of Montgomery.
