Project Description:
The applicant proposes the mining of gravel and material processing with a portable dry-screen and portable crusher that have the capacity to process 50 tons per hour, on 6.24 acres of land. The estimated life of the mine is 5 years and the reclamation objective is farmland. The site is owned by the Town and is adjacent to the existing town highway barn, east of Allegany Road (formerly Farm Market Road), Cattaraugus County Route 10, approximately 0.34 miles north of NYS Route 242 and the hamlet of Napoli.
