Project Description:
 The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application to modify the SPDES permit for the Village of Lima Wastewater Treatment Plant to authorize an increase in the flow from .2 million gallons per day (MGD) to .3 MGD to Spring Brook within the Village of Lima. The modification is based on the upgrades to the influent structure, the secondary digester, the sludge handling structures, as well as, the addition of two new clarifiers. The treatment plant is located at 7405 Ziegler Drive in the Village of Lima. A draft permit is available for review and comment at the NYSDEC regional office.

Project Description:
 The Department has received an application for a Title V Facility Permit for existing processes at the Gunlocke Co Inc - Wayland Facility, located at 1 Gunlocke Drive in the Town of Wayland, Steuben County. This wood chair and case production facility has emission points for wood preparation and coating lines, adhesive application operations, wood and particle board machining and sanding operations, and boilers. It meets the definition of a major stationary source, and is required to obtain a Title V Facility Permit as specified in 6 NYCRR Part 201-6, due to potential emissions in excess of Title V applicability thresholds specified in 6 NYCRR Part 201-2 and Title V of the Clean Air Act for a Major Stationary Source: 100 tons per year of particulate matter less than 10 microns (PM-10); 100 tons per year of total particulates; 50 tons per year of volatile organic compounds (VOC); and 25 tons per year of total hazardous air pollutants (HAP). The application and the Draft Title V Facility Permit are available for review at the Region 8 NYSDEC office. If comments raise significant issues, the Department may modify the Draft Permit. In accordance with 6NYCRR Parts 621.5(d)(9) and 201- 6.4(c)(1), the Administrator of EPA has the authority to bar issuance of any Title V Facility Permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6NYCRR Part 201. After the comment period, EPA will be provided with the Proposed Title V Facility Permit, which is the Draft Permit with any modifications after public comment. EPA will then have an additional 45 days for review. After 45 days, the Department may issue the Proposed Permit as a Title V Facility Permit if EPA has raised no objection.

Project Description:
 Applicant proposes to develop a waterfront park on the southside of the Erie Canal east and west of Rt. 414. Departmental jurisdiction involves the removal and relocation of an existing sheet pile bulkhead, installation of floating docks and gangway, placement of rip-rap erosion controls, and the excavation of approximately 850 cubic yards of material from the nearshore waters of the Canal. Dockage is to provide space for approximately 15 boats.
