The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 152151, known as the Person & Turano Plating Specialists, Inc. Site. This site is located in the Village of Patchogue, Town of Brookhaven, in the County of Suffolk, and is located at 426 East Main Street. The reason for deletion is: The property owner has adequately remediated the site. The property owner has completed all remedial activities stipulated by the NYSDEC and Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS). The test results and a site inspection performed by NYSDEC staff indicate conformance with the expectations set forth by the NYSDEC and SCDHS.

|Notice of Acceptance of Final Generic EIS|
Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington, as Lead Agency, has accepted a Final Generic EIS for the proposed Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan (LWRP) for Huntington Harbor. The action involves the proposed adoption and implementation of an LWRP and enabling Consistency Review legislation for the water and land areas in and around Huntington Harbor, exclusive of the Incorporated Villages of Huntington Bay and Lloyd Harbor. Huntington Harbor is located in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County, New York.
The LWRP is a planning document, intended to guide development and uses in the LWRP area, such that applicable future development, and uses must be consistent with the intent and purpose of the document, as well as with a set of 13 planning policies handed down from the NYS Department of State, and 78 sub-policies developed by the Town of Huntington.
