Project Description:
The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a modification/renewal of a permit for an existing discharge of 50-60 gallons per week from three oil/water separators, one for each lease, from 12 wells over three lease fields into Stoney Lonesome Creek (Outfall 001), Hunt Creek (Outfall 002) and California Hollow Creek (Outfall 003), all Class C water bodies. The permit is being modified to include additional White Hill leases and remove Alma Hill leases from the facility. Also, the number of outfalls has been modified to reflect the current operation. A draft permit and locator map are available for review at the Regional Office in Buffalo. The discharge points are located north of Four Mile Road between Stony Lonesome and Petroloa Roads.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes the mining of gravel and material processing with a small (capacity less than 150 tons per hour) dry-screen, on 6.8 acres out of 19 acres owned. The estimated life of the mine is 7 to 10 years and the reclamation objective is a landscaped lawn. The project site is northeast of the intersection of Miller Road with NYS Route 83, at 9452 Miller Road. The mine haul road would access Miller Road about 300 feet from Route 83.

Project Description:
The applicant is proposing to retrieve rock rip rap and place approximately 60 cubic yards of additional rip rap along approximately 115 feet of Lake Ontario shoreline. The site shall be accessed via the Peterson property approximately 300 yards west of the applicant's property. The site is located north of Route 18, west of Route 78 and east of Coomer Road in the Ward Heights area.
