Project Description:
 The Livingston County Water and Sewer Authority proposes to extend the supply and distribution system of the Authority and to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 30,000 gallons per day from the Village of Mount Morris's Silver Lake source through the Town of Mount Morris. The project includes the installation of 20,000 linear feet of 12-inch water main to serve the American Rock Salt mine, the Livingston County Highway facility and residents along sections of NYS Route 408 and 63, and East Groveland Road, through the Town of Mount Morris, to the Town of Groveland. A draft permit is available for review and comment at the NYSDEC Region 8 Office.

Project Description:
 The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for modification of an existing permit to discharge to Slater Creek from the Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation Russell Generating Station located at 1101 Beach Ave. in Greece, NY. The modification includes the elimination of references to studies that have been completed, the addition of monitoring of outfall 001A due to the new installation of an oil/water seperator on the Service Water System, the authorization of discharge to outfall 001 of the reverse osmosis system backwash and reject water from the treatment of boiler make-up water, and the clarification of specific conditions. In addition, the modification includes a revised schedule for selection and construction of remedial measures to elimate on-site leachate, as well as, the incorporation of a schedule to study ecological impacts of the on-site bottom and fly ash mix and other compounds and to develop a plan to remediate/mitigate the identified impacts to Slater Creek. A draft permit is available for review and comment at the NYSDEC regional office.

Project Description:
 As part of a 2 phase project, applicant proposes to install gravel parking area, minor structures related to public access and education to develop an outdoor education facility focusing on wildlife and wetland ecology. Phase I includes driveway suitable for bus access, parking lot and minor structures within 100 ft. adjacent area of NYS Freshwater Wetland RO-16 (II). Phase II includes construction of handicap accessible trail in upland and wetland areas. Department is supportive of the proposed project. The 79 acre parcel is located south of Catchpole Rd. between Garlic Rd. and High Street in Town of Rose.
