Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct a 162' long x 4.5' high sheet pile and shotrock water level control dike to establish a 20 acre shallow marsh, associated with a 79.4 acre Wetland Reserve Program Easement. The site is located approximately 10 miles south of the Village of Canton. The site is further located on an unnamed tributary to Dean Brook approximately 1200' north of Selleck Road and 2500' east of the hamlet of West Pierrepont. The site is located is regulated Freshwater Wetland WP-22, a 22 acre Class III wetland.
