Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct a private recreational pond and a portion of a swimming pool within the 100-foot adjacent area of DEC regulated Freshwater Wetland GO-39 (Class 2). The proposed pond is approximately 110 feet wide by 115 feet long and will be a maximum of about 6 feet deep. The proposed below-ground swimming pool will be located within the existing lawn area. The size of the proposed pool is about 1,200 square feet, about one half of which will be located within the wetland adjacent area. Approximately 3,000 square feet of existing lawn within the wetland adjacent area next to the proposed pool will be filled to a surface elevation level with the proposed pool.
