ENB - REGION 2 NOTICES

Negative Declaration

New York County (Manhattan) - The NY City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed rezoning of Block 1096 from M2-3 to M1-5 will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. The rezoning would enable development of a single, 5-story industrial/commercial building for express freight distribution or similar use on the western two-thirds of the block, replacing various auto-related, manufacturing and commercial developments in several one-to-four story buildings plus two surface public parking lots. Block 1096 is located between West 48th and 49th Streets and between 11th and 12th Avenues.
