Negative Declarations

Monroe County - New York State DOT as lead agency has determined that the public utility wireless communication and traffic monitoring facility at DOT's Bushnell's Basin park and ride lot will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. The project includes installation of a public utility wireless communication and traffic monitoring facility with a 120 foot tall multi-user, multi-purpose monopole, ancillary antennas and a single equipment shelter. The DOT park and ride facility is off I-490 at the Bushnell's Basin Exit (Route 96).

Ontario County - The Naples Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that Local Law 6 of 1999 (Naples Subdivision Law Amendment No. 1 of 1999) will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. Local Law 6 will amend the Town of Naples Subdivision Law to modify definitions and specifications with respect to streets, private drives and rights-of-way, and lot frontages thereon.

Local Law 5 will amend the Town of Naples Subdivision Law to modify definitions and specifications with respect to streets, private drives and rights-of-way, and lot frontages thereon.

Steuben County - The Planning Board of the Town of Erwin, as lead agency, has determined that the demolition of an existing 3,800 sq. ft. office building; construction of a 350,000 sq. ft. retail center including a 155,000 sq. ft. Super Wal-Mart; and associated local approvals and land trades, will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. The proposed retail center is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Robert Dann Drive and Canada Road in the Town of Erwin. The Board generally found that the applicant's plans, as modified to address public concerns, will mitigate potential impacts on vehicle and pedestrian traffic, visibility, stormwater drainage and flood storage; that the proposal is generally consistent with the Town's zoning and plans; and that no other resources are likely to be impacted.

Positive Declaration

Steuben County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of a new bus storage facility in the Arkport Central School District, SED Project No.57-19-01-04-5-007-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves 7,200 square feet of new construction on existing property. The project is located at 35 East Avenue in the Village of Arkport.
