Albany County - The Town of Colonie Planning Board as Lead Agency has determined that First Columbia Offices will result in no significant adverse environmental impacts and that, therefore, an environmental impact statement is not required to be prepared. The project consists of construction of approximately 150,000 sq. ft. of office space and related facilities on an 11 acre site at 30 Century Hill Drive in the Town of Colonie, Albany County. The Planning Board concluded that the project is consistent with the Boght Road / Columbia Street Area GEIS and its Statement of Findings; that potential adverse impacts identified in Part 2 of the EAF will not be significant; and that conditions noted in the Part 3 EAF are met, and subject to mitigation of cumulative impacts in accordance with the Statement of Findings.

Delaware County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed addition and alteration for the Margaretville Central School in the Margaretville Central School District, SED Project No. 12-14-01-04-0-001-006. The action involves a two story addition of approximately 58,700 square feet. The project is located on Main Street in Margaretville, New York. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until January 17, 2000.

Columbia County - The County of Columbia has issued a Final Request for Proposals for the processing and disposal of solid waster generated within Columbia County. The Final Request for Proposals is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, 401 State Street, Hudson NY 12534.
