Project Description:
 The Department has made a tentative determination to modify this existing SPDES permit for the Village's Van Hoesen Street Retention Basin, to reflect the elimination of disinfection requirements. This proposed Department initiated modification would eliminate the effluent limitations for Total Residual Chlorine and it's monitoring requirement, and also eliminate the monitoring requirement for Fecal Coliform. This modification is being proposed since Albany County Health Department does not require disinfection for this facility, and because Department guidance also does not require disinfection of wastewater to a Class C(ts) waterbody. The facility is located on Van Hoesen Street in Ravena, and discharges it's wastewate to the Coeymans Creek, a Class C(ts) waterbody. A draft modified permit page is available for review and comment at the regional office.

Project Description:
 Applicant proposes to remove accumulated silt from an 80' x 45' area of an existing pond. Up to 5' of silt will be dredged to restore the pond back to its original depth of 10'. The silt will be graded onto the applicant's lawn in an area approximately 75' away from the pond. Applicant also proposes to lower the water level of the pond to enable repair of breech along side a small existing concrete dam and to perform repairs to the dam as needed. The project is located in a tributary of Kinderhook Creek at 22 Rock City Road in Chatham (T), Columbia County.

Project Description:
 Place approximately 400 tons of medium stone fill (rip-rap) on a 200 foot long section of the east bank of the Hudson River. About 53 cubic yards (80 tons) will be placed below mean high water in a section of river bed which has been drained for the winter. The site is on the west side of River Road about 0.9 miles north of Riley Road, in the Town of Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County.
