Negative Declarations

Erie County - The Town of Elma Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Conley Road Rezoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of property from C/Agricultural, Residential B and Commercial to Industrial. The project is located on Conley Road in the Town of Elma.

Erie County - The Town of Elma Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Construction of a Tower on Town of Elma Land will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 160 foot monopole tower on property at the Town of Elma Highway Department. The project is located on Bowen Road in the Town of Elma.

Wyoming County - The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Akron Village Reservoir Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the excavation of 100,000 cubic yards of silt and gravel from the western end of the existing reservoir to increase storage capacity of the 150 million gallon reservoir by 20 million gallons. The excavated material will be land spread on a 6.5 acre upland site immediately to the northeast of the coffer dam. The project is located on Tinkham Road, north of NY Route 354, Town of Bennington.

Wyoming County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed addition to the Warsaw Elementary School in the Warsaw Central School District, SED Project No. 67-15-01-04-0-007-005, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

Positive Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Cheektowaga Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Bennett Road Senior Independent Housing may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction of a two story, 94,500 square foot senior apartment building with 101 units and parking for 148 cars on a 7.4 acre site. The project is located at 151-171 Bennett Road in the Town of Cheektowaga .

Draft EIS

Allegany County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed construction of a new bus garage in the Genesee Valley Central School District, SED Project No. 02-07-02-04-5-011-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until January 7, 2000. The action involves 16,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located on County Route 48 in the Town of Amity.
